Works Program

Leveraging Council, Agency and Corporate Investment in environmental projects

Over the past four years, the Living Links program has instigated a series of environmental enhancement projects to help improve native habitat and landscapes across Melbourne’s south-east.

The projects have often combined investment dollars from the host Council in each case with contributions from Melbourne Water, Port Phillip and Western Port CMA, The Australian Government (Caring for our Country) and also corporate investors such as Jemena, Mobile Muster and SP Ausnet.

Below is a snapshot of the projects completed to date:

Falkiner Park – Dandenong
Dandenong Creek at Dorset Road
Dandenong Creek at Glen Park
North Aspendale Foreshore rehabilitation
Lower Mordialloc Creek (south side rehabilitation at Aspendale)
Ferny Creek Corridor, Knox
Eumemmerring Creek at Frog Hollow
Troupes Creek at Fox Road
